One-Liner
"Alerts you when your website looks broken to users, even if your API says everything's fine."
Validation Steps (4 Hours Total)
Hour 1: Community Research
Goal: Find 10+ people with this exact pain
- Post in 3 Reddit communities (r/webdev, r/nextjs, r/reactjs):
- "How do you know if your users are seeing a broken UI in production?"
- Join 2 Discord servers (Indie Hackers, Frontend Developers)
- Ask: "Ever had your site break visually but uptime monitor said it's fine?"
- Check Twitter for recent complaints:
- Search: "website broken but API working"
- Search: "frontend error production"
- Success metric: 10+ people respond with "yes, this happened to me"
Hour 2: Landing Page
Goal: Can explain it in 30 seconds
Build on Carrd/HTML:
- Headline: "Know when your frontend breaks before your customers do"
- Subheadline: "Screenshot monitoring that alerts you when users see broken UI"
- 3 bullet points:
- ✅ Takes screenshots every 5 minutes
- ✅ Detects visual changes automatically
- ✅ Alerts via Slack/email when something breaks
- Pricing shown: "$19/month"
- Email capture form
- Success metric: Clear enough that you'd sign up
Hour 3: Traffic Test
Goal: 30-50 email signups
Post in these places (spend 10 min each):
- Reddit r/webdev: "I'm building a tool that screenshots your site and alerts when UI breaks. Would you use this?"
- Twitter: "Your API returns 200 OK but users see a blank page. How do you catch this before they complain? (I'm building something for this)"
- Indie Hackers: "Validating idea: Screenshot monitoring for frontend devs"
- Dev.to: Quick article "The blind spot in uptime monitoring"
- HN Show: "Landing page for screenshot monitoring tool"
- Product Hunt Ship: Pre-launch page
Link to landing page in all posts.
Success metric: 30+ email signups in 24 hours

Subject: Quick question about frontend monitoring Hi [name], You signed up for [tool]. Quick question: What was the last time your frontend broke in production but your monitoring didn't catch it? Would you pay $19/month to prevent that from happening again? - rizw
Jump on 15-min calls with 5 of them.
Ask:
- "Tell me about the last frontend incident you had"
- "How did you find out about it?"
- "What would you pay to catch it automatically?"
- "If I built this, would you be my first customer?"
Success metric: 3+ say "yes, I'd pay for this"
Decision Tree
After 4 hours:
✅ 30+ signups + 3+ willing to pay → Build MVP
⚠️ 10-30 signups + 1-2 willing to pay → Tweak positioning, validate again
❌ <10 signups + 0 willing to pay → Pivot to different idea
